Our client is Causseaux, Hewett & Walpole, better known as CHW. Since their inception 25 years ago, CHW has become a Civil Engineering leader in North Florida. They continue to grow and are now spreading their integrity, reputation and work across the southeastern United States.
CHW requested for us to design and develop a new website to better represent their updated brand, organization and workflows. Parisleaf’s primary role was to design a website to deliver this content across multiple platforms, with a focus on simple and modern interactions.
The inspiration for this website was to create a site that evoked the feeling of civil engineering from a foundational perspective by utilizing a subtle approach to grid, blueprint, and graphic imagery. We wanted to take a complex industry and represent it in such a way that made it easy to understand, and easy to approach. In addition, our team crafted the marketing messages displayed most prominently on the homepage of the site. The greatest challenge seemed to be providing a lot of functionality in an affordable package while providing CHW with a platform that can grow and adapt to their content changes. Combining professional WordPress development and responsive web design techniques, we were able to build a cross-platform site that allows CHW to maintain their own content.
This project has gone on to receive a CSS design award from CSS Garden, a well-respected web design gallery which serves as an inspiration repository for designers and developers to seek out web design and development trends. In addition, this site received a Silver ADDY from the Advertising Federation at the District level for it’s excellence in functionality and design. The ADDY awards serve to celebrate and reward creative communication excellence and recognize its impact on modern culture.
