Unity College is an Environmental College located in picturesque Unity, Maine. The College is led by visionary President Stephen Mulkey and specializes in Sustainability Science. Their administration approached Parisleaf with the singular goal of generating captivating content to help increase student enrollment while capturing the true nature of their commitment to sustainability.
For this campaign, our team chose to focus on Unity’s NOVA program, which allows incoming students to explore the Maine backcountry and reveals what the Unity College community has to offer. By artistically portraying this experience in an engaging and creative way, we knew we would captivate the minds of future Unity College students.
Our team wanted to help them see that from their very first experience at Unity, they can expect a non-traditional education in which the outdoors becomes their classroom. We researched several different brands that deal exclusively in marketing to 16-21 year olds and decided that the production should induce excitement, yet offer periods of reflection and beauty. The challenges inherent in collecting over 5 days of footage across rural Maine range from safely transporting our equipment through unpredictable weather and terrain, to limited access to electricity and internet. Fortunately, our team was blessed with beautiful weather and are proud of the two-time ADDY award-winning video and photography Parisleaf created for Unity College.
Our passion for clear communication, our love of the creative process and our ability to deliver have helped us create the kind of relationship with Unity College that far exceeds that of a traditional vendor.
